Project Manager - Technical Publications
Job Description:

• 10+ Years of working experience in Technical Publications discipline, responsible for project deliverables and managing operations related to Operators Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalogue and Maintenance Manuals.
• Hands on working experience for at least 8 years in handling customers and project teams.
• Good knowledge of tools and Content Management Systems used in the Technical Publications area.
• Wind chill, Iso Draw and Pro-E related experience is preferred.
• Experience in Automotive, Agricultural & Turf or Construction & Forestry product experience is highly preferred

Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Mechanical/ Automobile)
Experience: 10 to 15 years

Technical Illustrators & Technical Writers Leads
Job Description:

• Develops complete operator and service manuals for drilling equipment;
• Develops and maintains standard templates to be used in the manuals;
• Develops technical training packages to be used by the Product Support staff;
• Experience in people handling and customer interfacing
• Completes product Technical and Safety Bulletins;
• Writes safe work instructions;
• Participates in the continuous improvement process within the team.
• University Degree in Engineering
• At least 3-5 years experience in Creating parts catalogues and writing technical manuals, heavy machinery industry is preferred;
• The ability to work under tight deadlines is a pre requisite;
• Experience with Adobe Frame maker (or similar) is preferred;
• Collect information regarding product changes, inspect machines under construction, researching client literature
• Create literature which is grammatically correct, concise and clearly conveys the required information to Dealer/Customer personnel.
• Ensure that the grammar, format and expression of all literature is consistent with Client standards.
• Use information from Client systems to ensure that the relevant literature is written and issued in a timely manner.
• should have Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic knowledge with an engineering degree or equivalent diploma.
• Auto Cad , Iso Draw, Photo shop , Adobe Illustrator or Pro- Engineer Experience is preferred.
• Exceptional communications skills both verbal and written along with strong analysis skills will assist with your success in this position.
• Working alongside other departments will create a team environment for this role.
• The candidate will need to demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy and a focus on safety and quality.
• Experience in Automotive, Agricultural & Turf or Construction & Forestry product experience is highly preferred

Job Description:

• Experience in Technical writing / Illustrations for operation and maintenance manuals of rail or relevant machinery/equipment.
• Maintenance knowledge on rail / Mechanical equipment is an advantage.
• Good knowledge in English, Engineering drawings reading and understanding the assembling/dismantling procedures.
• Good communication skills.
• Conversant with Tech Pub standards.
• Conversant with latest Tech Pub tools
