NRSC was an autonomous body called National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA) under Department of Space (DOS) till
August 2008. Consequent to the approval of the Union Cabinet on December 13, 1973, the Dept of Science and Technology registered a society named National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA) on 2nd September 1974

General Conditions:
Only Indian nationals need to apply
The duration of the training will be one year only.
Selected candidates will be registered under the apprentices act 1961 for which they should execute a contract.
Ex-apprentices or candidates who are currently undergoing apprenticeship in any organization/firm are not eligible.
Those candidates with one year or more job experience after acquiring the essential qualification either in
government/public/private sectors are not eligible .Age should not be more than 35 years as on 30.11.2013. Age relaxation
as per Government of India orders are applicable in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/PWDs are applicable as per apprentice act 1961.
The trainees will have no claim whatsoever for employment in NRSC or any other centers/Units of ISRO/DOS after
completion of the training period.
